The six photos I took were all taken around my yard and house. The first photo is of my volleyball. The second is my dads truck grill. The third is of a woven rocking chair. The fourth is of plant stems in my moms garden. The fifth photo is the side of my concrete patio. The last is of a spare tire on my camper. All of my six photos were take up close. I took the photos of the plant stems and tire straight on. The rest of my photos were taken of a left side view. All of my photos were taken horizontally. The only photo taken vertically was the photo of a tire. I used the rule of thirds when photographing the tire, the grid lines lined up with the grooves in the tire. The plant stems lead your eye from the bottom and the top of the photo.
Pattern & Texture
Im closer to the edge of the stone wall, however the photo get farther from the wall as it goes on. I photographed the stone wall from a side angle. The photograph I took is taken horizontally along the stone wall. No, the stone wall does not follow the lines along the camera in the rule of thirds. This photograph contains pattern and texture, there is texture in the rocks and pattern along the different shapes of the rocks. The photo of the siding is the most overexposed photo, the glare of the sun makes it to bright. The photograph of the wood chips was the most dark around the flower. The photo of the driveway is balanced between black, whites, and grays.
